Employees at Accenture Netherlands are incredibly driven and intelligent, with a strong desire for continuous development. The organization itself is dynamic, and the world around us is constantly changing, leading to a fast-paced work environment. This environment is challenging and exciting, but it also requires consultants to meet client expectations under time constraints.

Many employees are motivated to achieve performance goals, milestones, and promotions. Accenture Netherlands supports their employees in prioritizing their (mental) health so they can be the best version of themselves at work and at home. Additionally, Accenture Netherlands values collaboration with a partner who understands the service sector and adopts a responsible, data-driven, and positive approach. They have high standards for data storage, security, and monitoring.

The solution

Encouraging positive behavior change in healthy working practices within a rapidly evolving organization requires a thoughtful approach and engagement at multiple levels. Therefore, the collaboration began with a select group of ambassadors and team members focused on employee satisfaction, comprising diverse profiles across the organization—from executives to interns. This pilot group formed the foundation for our approach.

Following the tremendous success of the pilot, we are rolling out the Onewave Program in waves throughout the entire organization, continuously adjusting based on valuable feedback and results.

Results

After 3 years, the results of the Onewave Program are clearly visible:

  • Participants have experienced positive changes in their lifestyles, such as improved sleep patterns, more effective daily routines, better stress management, and increased focus on relaxation both at work and outside of work.
  • Our group sessions have also played a crucial role in normalizing the sharing of experiences related to stress and well-being, and in experimenting with new behaviors.
